MIGUEL BUENROSTRO is a filmmaker and video artist from Tijuana, based between Berlin and Mexico. His practice investigates border regimes, the migratory condition of music and the relationship between sound and territory.
His work has been presented at the Singapore Biennale; the Thailand Biennale; the MexiCali Biennale; transmediale, Berlin; Museo Casa del Lago,Museo Experimental del Eco, Mexico City; and the Musée National de la RD Congo. Buenrostro is a faculty member at Observatorio experimental film school in Tijuana, Mexico.

His films have been featured in international documentary film festivals, exhibitions, and experimental film showcases. His installations move between cinematic and sonic infrastuctures.
